 Congratulations to the Newly Elected 2025 NDNA Executive Board!

Dear Northshore District Nurses Association Members,

I am excited to share the results of our recent election for the 2025 NDNA Executive Board. We are deeply grateful for the willingness of these exceptional leaders to serve and guide our organization in the coming year. Please join me in congratulating the following individuals on their election:

President: Teresa Krutzfeldt
Director of Operations: Cindy Ingram
Director of Community Service: Ecoee Rooney
Director of Social Media: Tiffany Swoboda
Director of Recognition: Elizabeth "Tren" Garbo
Director of Advocacy: Michelle Hoskins

Call for Nominations

We are currently seeking nominations for the following Executive Board positions:

Treasurer

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Maintain financial records, including revenue, expenditures, bank accounts, and receipts.
    • Present an annual budget for Board review and approval within 45 days of the New Year.
    • Generate funds for operations and oversee expenditures.
    • Receive membership dues and other association funds, deposit funds, and pay approved bills.
    • Keep detailed financial records and present reports at regular meetings.
    • Submit account records for audit at the fiscal year’s end or upon change of office.
    • Refund approved expenses incurred by officers and committees.
    • Serve as Chair of the Finance Committee.

Director of Transition to Practice

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Develop and promote strategies to encourage student nurse membership and participation.
    • Welcome new graduate members.
    • Engage new graduates in meetings and NDNA activities.
    • Collaborate with nursing schools through presentations, meetings, and events.
    • Coordinate the scholarship program.
    • Report on activities at regular meetings.
    • Chair the Transition Committee.
